![]() After all, his in-game basic attack sends multiple bullets the enemies' way, but we think our theory is cooler, so that's the one we're going with. It's entirely possible that the artists simply forgot to include the debris, dust and shells. Of course, there is one possibility that we don't like to think about In contrast to the regular splash art of the champion, the one of the skin, does not contain smoke or any shells coming out of the gun too. The smoke pouring from the end of the weapon is a shimmering blue, and the actual weapon itself looks so out-of-the-future that it must be some form of a laser gun. The effect certainly couldn't have been achieved using a regular old bullet or even an explosive shell. This implies that the section of the wall was vaporized (as we may disregard any kind of magic damage), and that would have required firing a high-power laser blaster or another kind of futuristic weapon. ![]() However, there's no debris near the wall and no dust in the air. Jailbreak Graves is framed by a hole in the wall, which he has just torn through in his attempt to escape. Why do we believe it's a laser blaster? Well, it's pretty simple. With that out of the way, you're probably ready to get to the good stuff! We'll start with the splash art first - don't worry, it won't take long - and then we'll go over the in-game skin itself.Īs mentioned, the splash art features Jailbreak Graves with golden eyes, gray skin, spiky hair and beard, and what looks like a laser blaster in his hands. We'd say that sometime in the distant future, Graves ends up in jail once more, and (reload time) this skin is based on that event, not the one in his past. Granted, the five years he spent cooped up in that infamous prison involved lots of nasty torture, and you could claim that he's dyed his hair and beard - that doesn't explain the futuristic gun though, nor the freaky eyes. We also know the look of his basic attack, and when we see an enemy hit by it, they definitely don't look crispy or vaporized. This is odd, because the five years Graves spent in prison have already happened, and we know that present-day Graves has black hair and his eyes don't glow (No Sentinel Graves, we are not talking about you). Jailbreak Graves' hair is completely gray, he has glowing golden eyes, and he fires a futuristic gun. However, we've noticed an inconsistency that'll surprise you, and might prove the end-of-the-line information written on Grave's wiki page to be a smoke screen All in all, Graves dashes as often as he gets in trouble with the law. Most people believe that Jailbreak Graves references that time he broke out of jail - you don't need Heimerdinger-level intelligence to figure that one out. ![]()
